Dr. Lokesh conferred Ph.D by Mangalore University
Mr. Lokesh was conferred with a Ph.D for his research on “AGRICULTURE CREDIT BY BANKS IN DAKSHINA KANNADA DISTRICT - AN ANALYSIS FROM BORROWERS AND LENDERS PERSPECTIVE” under the guidance of Dr. Ishwara P, Professor, Department of Commerce during the 35th Annual Convocation of Mangalore University, Mangala Gangothri.
Federal Bank recruitment drive
Federal Bank conducted the recruitment drive for the graduates at Sahyadri campus. 180 candidates were part of the recruitment process. Mr. Sanjo J Joseph, Senior Manager & Branch Head, Federal Bank accompanied by panellists on the recruitment team were at the campus to facilitate the entire recruitment process.

Sahyadri Whiz Quiz carried out at Vivekananda College & St. Philomena College, Puttur
 A preliminary round of Sahyadri Whiz Quiz was conducted at Vivekananda College and St. Philomena College, Puttur. Approximately 470 students of final year B.Com and BBM of Vivekananda College and 310 students of St. Philomena College participated with great enthusiasm and vigour. Dr. Lokesh, Prof. Ramesh, Prof. Abhay and Prof. Chandrakanth along with student volunteers spearheaded the initiative. A short introduction of our institute was given before the commencement of the competition. Prof. Venkataramana Bhat, HoD, Commerce & Management and faculty coordinators - Prof. Ravikala and Prof. Rekha, Vivekananda College and Prof. Maxim Carlo, HoD, Commerce & Management and faculty coordinator Prof. Chandrashekar, St. Philomena College applauded Sahyadri for organizing community initiatives of such nature.
