Health Advisory for students and staff - Sahyadri Health and Counselling Centre

Dear Students and staff, over the next few months there will be uneven and fluctuating weather conditions, with the fall in atmospheric pressure and sudden variation in humidity that can affect the health of every individual. Therefore, all are advised to consume adequate fluids and have a spice and oil free diet with lot of fibre. Avoid salty food and street food to the maximum. Keep your skin moisturized and prefer to cold showers rather than hot water baths. Since the chances of contact infections are high due to excessive sweat, it is advisable to add Dettol solution to the bath water for bathing.
