Sahyadri provides Sponsorship for Swacchatha Calling Bell Project of Zilla Panchayath

Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management received the honour of sponsoring for the Swacchtha Calling Bell initiative of the Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayath. As a part of the ISR initiative, Principal, Dr. Umesh M Bhushi and Academic Administrative Officer, Ms. Shreelatha U A, handed over a cheque of Rs. 2,40,000/- to Dr. M R Ravi, CEO of D.K Zilla Panchayath - as sponsor which amounts to 50% of the total Cost of installing calling bell with Swacchatha themed music at Kallige Village of Bantwal Taluk. The institute has upheld its sense of dedication and commitment towards the betterment of the society at large and realization of the institute’s vision through this gesture.

Principal speaks on ‘Living Engineering’ at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi

Principal Dr. Umesh M Bhushi was invited to Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, one of the institutes under the banner of Suresh Angadi Education Foundation. Mr. Suresh Angadi is a member of the 16th Lok Sabha from Belagavi. Dr. Umesh M Bhushi addressed 350 students of Mechanical Engineering on "LIVING ENGINEERING'. Dr. Ashok M Hulagabali, Professor and HOD and also an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur coordinated the Workshop.
