Campus Recruitment Drive - Attra Infotech Ltd.

Attra Infotech Ltd. conducted an online test at Sahyadri, for the shortlisted students from Computer Science Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering students of 2019 outgoing batch. The final results are awaited.

Campus Recruitment Drive - LiuGong India

LiuGong visited Sahyadri to conduct a Campus Recruitment Drive for the Mechanical Engineering students of 2019 outgoing batch. A total of 35 students participated in the drive, out of which, Twenty four students were shortlisted for further rounds of interview.

Campus Recruitment Drive - ICICI Prudential Life Insurance

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance visited Sahyadri to conduct a Pool Campus Recruitment Drive for the engineering students of 2019 outgoing batch. Mr. Vivin Christo J, Human Resource accompanied by Ms. Prathiba R, Area Manager, were at the campus to facilitate the process. A total of 10 Sahyadrians were selected.

MBA Faculty & students attend interview in Grassroots BPO Bengaluru and return with 6 Job Offers and Faculty Internship

Prof. Sushma V along with 8 students from MBA-HR had an interview scheduled with Mr. Ben Subbarao, Head - HR & Training for the position of HR Business Partner at Grassroots BPO, Bengaluru. A total of 6 students have been issued a Job offer and Prof. Sushma V has been approved for an internship of 15-30 days in ‘People Operations’ at Grassroots BPO, Bengaluru during June’19.

Students & Faculty from GFGC, Shankarnarayana, Kundapur on an Industry visit at Sahyadri

Department of Business Administration organized an Industry visit for students from Govt. First Grade College, Shankarnarayana, Kundapur at Sahyadri. A total of 48 students along with faculty members - Mr. Girish and Mr. Yathiraj were at the campus for the visit of the in-house Start-Ups and industries at Sahyadri. They also went through the Hands-On Training in Typing Skills facilitated by Chirag Bangera, the student of 2nd Year MBA-HR under the guidance of Prof. Prajwala Rodrigues. Next, Prof. Girish M addressed the students and gave them a brief background of the nature of start-ups and industries that Sahyadri houses. Later, students were taken around the campus to visit the industries and have an interaction with the industry heads.

Girls Team in Volleyball won Runner's up trophy at VTU level-Rest of Bangalore Zone tournament

The Volleyball Girls team won Runner's up trophy at VTU level, Rest of Bangalore Zone Volleyball tournament for girls held at NMAMIT, Nitte.

Sahyadri Gym Trainer wins Second Place in State Level Body Building Competition

Mr. Jagadish Poojary, Sahyadri Multi-Gymnasium trainer and staff member in the Department of Mathematics won Second Prize in 'Mr. Karnataka - 2019' State Body Building Competition held in Udupi He has also been selected for the National Level Body Building Competition.

Introduction of the Mentor:
Mr. G.B. Janardhana Swamy is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He obtained his B.E Degree from Sapthagiri College of Engineering, Bengaluru and M.Tech Degree from J.S.S. Academy of Technical Education, Bengaluru. He has 7 years of teaching experience. He has published 3 articles in national and international journals. His research interests are Agile software development and Machine Learning.

• Mohammed Nowfal is from Mangaluru. He pursued his high school from Falah English Medium School and PUC from St. Aloysius PU College, Mangaluru. His hobbies include playing Chess and Cricket. He aspires to be an entrepreneur and start his own software company.
• Suchitha D. Chopdekar is from Karwar. She pursued her high school from Union High School, Majali and studied Diploma in Engineering in Computer Science from Govt. Polytechnic, Karwar. Her hobbies include dancing, cooking and drawing. She aspires to become a successful software engineer.
• Vaishnavi S. Chouta is from Vitla. She pursued her high school from Sudana Residential School, and PUC from Vivekananda PU College, Puttur. Her hobbies include dancing and playing badminton. She is a certified dancer, secured distinction in junior grade classical dance. She aspires to become a successful IT engineer.
• Jaison D’Souza is from Kasargod. He pursued his high school from Shree Sharadamba Higher Seconday School, Shene and PUC from Thanbeehul Higher Seconday School, Naimarmoola. He participated in various events conducted by IIT-Karagpur and NIT-Calicut. He secured first place in Hactober Hacknight and he is an active member of team Challengers. He aspires to become a successful software engineer.
• Ramya Pai is from Kundapur. She pursued her high school from Vivekananda High School, Uppunda and PUC from Govt. PU College, Byndoor. She participated in Fest held at NIT-Jameshedpur. Her Hobbies include singing and listening to music. She aspires to become a good software engineer and serve the society.
• Preeti L. is from Shimoga. She pursued her high school from Nagara PU College, and PUC from Holy Redeemer Composite PU College, Hosanagara, Shimoga. She is interested in photography, drawing and crafts. She participated in OJASS event held at NIT-Jamshedpur. She aspires to become a software developer.
• Saketh Jnanadev Gaonkar is from Karwar. He did his schooling at Balmandir High School, and PUC at Govt. PU College, Karwar. He aspires to be a successful entrepreneur. • Jennifer Coutinho is from Mangaluru. She pursued her high school from St. Francis English Medium School, Mudarangadi and PUC from St. Aloysius PU College, Mangaluru. Her Hobbies include singing. She was a topper in second semester Engineering. She aspires to become a software engineer and support her family.
• Amrutha S. is from Mangaluru. She pursued her high school from Canara High School, and PUC from St. Aloysius PU College, Mangaluru. Her hobbies include classical dance. She has completed junior grade in Bharathanatyam with distinction. She aspires to work for an organization that upholds the growth and welfare of people and society.
• Aishwarya is from Kerala. She pursued her high school from Public School, Rajapuram and PUC from Durga Higher Secondary School, Kanhangad, Kerala. Her achievements include, securing 100% in SSLC Board Exam, first place in English and Malayalam recitation; and first place in classical dance. She aspires to become a successful software engineer and to volunteer and pay back to the society.
