Engineering & MBA Classes resume on ICT Mode with majority of students attending the E-Classes

Effective 30th March 2020, the Engineering & MBA classes have recommenced on ICT mode using various online platforms like Zoom, Google Classrooms and so on. This was possible with the initial trial run during the entire last week by creating online content and videos. With the well-structured time table and competent faculty, Sahyadri is moving towards one common objective of uninterrupted learning. VTU Vice-Chancellor - Dr. Karisiddappa is closely monitoring the E-classes.
Majority of the students are logging in for their online classes, and their feedback on the learning outcomes immediately after each session is giving a boost to faculty to deliver the best lectures and also innovate in the teaching learning process. The collective efforts of both faculty and students have heightened this initiative.

Technical Talk on Machine Learning by Dr. Nagabhushan through ICT mode

On 28th March 2020, Dr. Nagabhushan P N, Principal at SJCE Mysuru, delivered a Technical Talk on “Challenges in Physical Sciences in the ERA of AL and Machine Learning” through ZOOM App (ICT Mode).

Concepts covered during the Talk:
• Artificial Neural Network
• Neural Network Architecture
• Perceptrons

Dr. Rajesha S, Dean-Academics, Dr. J V Gorabal, Head of Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and Dr. Shamanth Rai Head of Dept. of Information Science & Engineering along with the Faculty members of their respective departments were the beneficiaries of the session.
