Mr. H S Sadanand, B.Com, B.P.Ed, M.P.Ed & NIS in Kho-Kho & Kabaddi has joined the Department of Physical Education as a Director of Sports. He was with VTU as a Sports committee member. He was also a Sports Director at Kuvempu University and a part of various State Sports Associations. He has a vast experience of 35 years in JNNCE, Shimoga. His areas of interest are Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Cricket, Handball & Athletics.

Dr. Manjappa Sarathi visits IIIT-Allahabad
Dr. Manjappa Sarathi, Director, Research & Consultancy visited IIIT-Allahabad to convey his best wishes to Prof. Nagabhushan, the newly appointed Director of IIIT-A. Later, he was accompanied by Mr. Anush Bekal, Ms. Joyline D’Sa (Deputed faculty members, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management) along with Dr. Vrijendra Singh (PhD cell in-charge, IIIT-A) and Dr. Shashikanth Rai (Dept of MBA, IIIT-A) for a bird view of the Holy Triveni Sangam.
