Devhost-18 was organized bySahyadri Open Source Community (SOSC),in association with NAIN.
The event started with the inauguration ofSOSC by SwathiBavanaka and Subtask Konda- the speakers of the event. Subsequently the formal function began with Dr. U.M.Bhushi, Principal, addressing the gathering. His words were as usual very inspiring and thought provoking. This was followed by a few words from the speaker of the day encouraging the attendees.Aninteractive session was conducted by SwathiBavanaka, COO of Evibe and an inspiring Women Techspeaker who spoke on UX (user experience).
The next session was conducted by SubhashKonda, Software engineer II, Microsoft, who spoke on modern data science.Students from various colleges actively participated on Day One of the event.

Anusree, Shruthi K A, NehaShetty, Revathi N Nuchin, AmeerSuhail, AseebRahman, Gouri D.G, Jishnu T.N, VarunVikasRai, Sachin K S from the Department of Civil Engineering have been selected by Garden City Realty Pvt Ltd., Bengaluru, for the position of Junior Engineer(Graduate Engineer) in the recently held campus drive for the 2018 outgoing batch.

Sahyadri celebratesthe College Day. The formal function starts at 10 a.m. in the morning atSrushti Auditorium (Bus Shelter). The cultural events will start at 1.30 PM in the afternoon.
The event will be concluded in the evening.
