Dept. of Chemistry & Research Centre prepares Hand Sanitizer for In-house institutional Usage
Dr. Savitha M. B, Dept. of Chemistry & Research Centre has prepared an alcohol-based sanitizer for in-house institutional usage. This sanitizer contains 70% alcohol. Glycerin and essential oils are added to reduce the dryness on skin with Mint essence for fragrance.
Hand is the most vulnerable carrier of many germs, hence sanitizing the hands is necessary at the entrance of any premises. Removal/killing of germs is effective only by washing hands with soap; however as an immediate solution where soap water is not available, sanitizers are required in places like – Entrance of the Gate or places with common entrance. It is advisable that people wash their hands as and when they get access to soap and water.
Mumbai Metro Rail will soon run on Caliper Products
Covid-19 lockdown is not baffling Caliper's marketing team, which is on rampage. This time, they bagged a prestigious contract from Bharat Earth Movers Ltd (BEML), Bangalore for supplying products to Mumbai Metro Rail. A single order has been received for Rs.35 Lacs to supply 4 products for 60 cars in Y2020, which will be followed by 480 cars in Y2021 & Y2022.
This is a very significant milestone for Caliper & the in-house Sahyadri Industries / start-ups, as Caliper demonstrated that customers can look at Companies without previous supply track record, if they have potential to deliver.
Caliper is an in-house start-up Company in Sahyadri, manufacturing precision products for Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Defence and Space sectors, now entering into Railways.
