Contactless Hand Sanitizer Dispensers manufactured by Sahyadri Group of Industries
Sahyadri Group of Industries has manufactured two types of contactless hand sanitizer dispensers, namely - Foot press dispenser and Sensor-based dispenser. The Foot press dispenser is manufactured by the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Ravichandra K.R., Head of Dept. of Mechanical Engineering; and the Sensor-based dispensers are manufactured by Research Design Labs at Sahyadri under the guidance of Mr. Raghav Shetty, CEO, RDL Technologies. The dispensers can be used by both public and private sector industries in their fight against COVID-19. A laudable feature is that, students of Sahyadri have actively participated in the design and implementation of these products.
