MBA Faculty Members attend a webinar on “Covid-19’s Impact on the Future of Higher Education: What University Leaders Should Be Thinking About Now”
With a view of getting insights on the impact of COVID-19 on the future of higher education, MBA faculty members attended a webinar on “Covid-19’s Impact on the Future of Higher Education: What University Leaders Should Be Thinking About Now”, on 20 th May’2020, organized by Harvard University at 9:30 PM, IST. The key speaker for the session was Prof. Vijay Govindarajan, Coxe Distinguished Professor at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. The session was moderated by Amy Bernstein, Vice President & Executive Editorial Director and Editor, Harvard Business Review.
Prof. Vijay emphasized on what University Leaders should do now to prepare for the future. He stressed on the fact that, it is the time to overcome the short-term challenges and make long-term strategy. He proposed three models for Higher Education in future: On campus and online mode, Augmented Immersive Residential Programme & Fully online programme. These models would hold good in a country like India as well, provided up-skilling happens at a greater level.
