MBA Faculty invited to facilitate an Online FDP on “Case Study Analysis in Teaching” organized by St. Teresa’s College for Women, Bengaluru
Prof. Sushma V, Dept. of Business Administration-MBA, facilitated one of the sessions during One-Week FDP on “Case Study Analysis in Teaching” organized by St. Teresa’s College for Women, Bengaluru. The FDP saw participation of nearly 100 faculty members from various educational institutions of Karnataka and outside.
Case Study Method of Teaching is one of the highly preferred Teaching Pedagogies in B-Schools and other Professional Institutes as it exposes students to the real life scenarios and concerns and the solutions preferred and accepted. It also enhances student’s competencies on Creative and Analytical Thinking. Hence driving Case Study method of Teaching in class has gained importance these days.
During the session, Prof. Sushma shared the Overview and also conducted Practical Sessions on Case Study. She emphasized on how a Case Study is carried out in class and the role of a Teacher as a Facilitator during the Case Study Method of Teaching.
