Student Counsellor conducts a session on ‘Mindfulness’ to the NSS Students of Padua College of Commerce & Management, Mangaluru
Mr. Ankith S Kumar, Student Counsellor was invited as a Resource Person by Padua College of Commerce & Management, Mangaluru for a session on "Mindfulness Activities for Mental Well-Being" for their NSS volunteers. The session was inaugurated by Dr. Nagaratna K A, NSS Co-ordinator of Mangalore University and Presided by Rev. Fr. Alwin Serro, Principal, Padua College of Commerce & Management, Mangaluru. Mr. Ankith S Kumar spoke about Mindfulness as a method to overcome stress and anxiety during the pandemic and also explained certain exercise to help the students relax. More than 100 NSS volunteers attended the session.

Inauguration of AICTE Sponsored One-Week STTP on “Innovative Approaches in Teaching Pedagogy” for Faculty
Dept. of Business Administration-MBA is organizing an AICTE Sponsored One-Week Short Term Training Programme (STTP) on “Innovative Approaches in Teaching Pedagogy” for Faculty of institutes affiliated to AICTE.
The Training is organized in 3 Phases
Phase 1: 31st May to 5th June 2021
Phase 2: 14th June to 19th June 2021 and
Phase 3: 24th June to 31st June 2021
More than 400 registrations have been received from across the country – Andhra Pradesh, New Delhi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Kerala, Odisha, Punjab, West Bengal, Haryana, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Goa and Karnataka. The resource persons are a blend of both Industry and Academia who would be engaging a total of 22 sessions per phase.
Inaugural Ceremony would be held on 31st May 2021 at 10am. Chief Guest of the programme is Col. B Venkat, Director-Faculty Development Cell, AICTE-New Delhi. Dr. S Manjappa, Director-Research; Dr. Rajesha S, Principal; Dr. Vishal Samartha, Director-MBA (Chairperson) and Prof. Sushma V (Convener) will be leading the Inauguration along with the guest.

Startup Karnataka E-Step BOOTCAMP at Sahyadri
Startup Karnataka Cell and Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), Department of Electronics, IT, BT, S&T is organizing E-Step BOOTCAMP on 31st May 2021 at Sahyadri via online platform.
KITS creates an ecosystem to promote start-ups by innovation and technology through skilling, re-skilling and up-skilling. The Boot Camp consists of sessions on Ideation, Product Design and Marketing, Product Development, Sales & Customer Engagement and more.
A total of 800 students have registered for this event from all the departments. Mr. Vishnu, Founder Carve Startup Labs, is the Resource Person for the event.
