Sahyadri bags VTU ranks and Gold Medals
VTU results are out and it is indeed a joyous and a proud moment for Sahyadri to announce that its students have bagged gold medals and ranks! The rigorous and relentless efforts of faculty and students and also their hard work, has brought fame and pride to Sahyadri. Sahyadri is delighted with the students achievements and rightfully so. Kudos!
Ms. Pavithree B. Shetty a student of Computer Science & Engineering bags four gold medals having secured first rank for her outstanding academic performance in VTU examinations. Out of 15,919 students of Computer Science & Engineering who appeared for the examinations, Ms. Pavithree stood first in the University. She will be accoladed with four most prestigious medals viz. “PESIT Gold Medal”, “R.N. Shetty Gold Medal”, “Jyothi Gold Medal” and “VTU Gold Medal”.
The awarding ceremony will be held on the occasion of VTU Convocation, which is slated for 18th March, 2019, in the august presence of His Excellency Shri. Venkaiah Naidu, Honourable Vice-President of India and His Excellency Shri. Vajubhai R. Vala, Honourable Governor of Karnataka and Chancellor, VTU.

Ms. Pavithree B. Shetty is a Computer Science & Engineering Graduate from Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management. She is the daughter of Mr. H Balakrishna Shetty, a Businessman and Mrs. Amitha B. Shetty. At a young age of 12, she secured 73rd rank in the country in Junior Level of HRD exams. The very next year she bagged 7th Rank in the state in Science Talent Hunt. In SSLC board exams, she stood 1st in Koppa Taluk.
• Her achievements at Sahyadri
Ms. Pavithree’s project titled 'Smart City' secured 1st place in State Level Project Exhibition, 'Srishti-2016'. Her final year project 'Recognition of Handwritten Characters and converting them to Editorial Format using Machine Learning Techniques' got a grant from the VTU. She was awarded the 'Best Outgoing Student’ of CS Department and got placed in Moonraft Innovation Labs with a package of Rs 8 lakhs per annum.

My aspiration is to become a professor and pass on my knowledge to the coming generations. From a very young age I had an urge to teach others, and when I got a chance to listen to Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam live, his words inspired me to become a professor. He wasn't just a source of inspiration but my role model in my life who taught me that it is not necessary to be a teacher to teach.
I'm really happy at the moment. This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the guidance of our faculties and management. I would like to thank God, my parents and my family who always supported me in all my endeavors. I'm grateful to Prof. Sudheer Shetty, Dean-Examinations, who is my personal mentor, guide and whose valuable suggestions at every stage have finally borne fruit today.
I would also like to thank Dr. Manjunath Bhandary, Chairman, and Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management for providing us with all the facilities and practical based learning which helps in the overall development of a student's skill set. Ms. Pavithree B Shetty received 4 Gold Medals & the Certificate of First Rank for her Outstanding Academic achievement during the Annual convocation ceremony of Visvevaraya Technological University (VTU) held at “Jnana Sangama” Campus, Belagavi. Honourable Vice Chancellor of VTU Dr. Karisiddappa presented the prestigious Gold Medals Viz. “PESIT Gold Medal”, “R N Shetty Gold Medal”, “Jyothi Gold Medal”, “VTU Gold Medal” and the Certificate of First Rank. The Chief Guest of the function was Padmashri Dr. Girish Bharadwaj who is popularly known as Sethu Bandhu & Bridge Man of India for building around 127 low cost and eco-friendly bridges in remote villages across India.
Later, Pavithree interacted with the Vice Chancellor Dr. Karisiddappa who has congratulated her for this great achievement and praised Sahyadri for the overall support given to her for accomplishing this feat. Dr. S Seetharamu selected as AICTE-INAE Distinguished Visiting Professor for Sahyadri
Dr. S Seetharamu, currently Technical Advisor for National Design Research Forum and Formerly Director of Central Power Research Institute-Bangalore, has been selected as AICTE-INAE Distinguished Visiting Professor for Sahyadri, under the subject scheme, for a period of one year starting from Jun 1, 2019 up to May 31, 2020 which is extendable up to 5 years as industry expert. The grant proposal was initiated from Department of Mechanical Engineering by Dr. Rathishchandra R Gatti.
• Dr. S. Seetharamu received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science in 1982 after obtaining M.E. in Mechanical Engineering from IISc in 1976 and B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University in 1974.
• Dr. S. Seetharamu joined CPRI in 1985 after serving in L&T and Best and Crompton Engg, retired as Director of CPRI in June 2015.
• He has also served as a Faculty at Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan.
• Dr. S. Seetharamu is a leading Scientist of Central Power Research Institute, which is contributing towards the development of Electrical Industry in India.
• Last four decades of applied R&D has resulted in the building of laboratories and field Engineering schemes (materials technology, thermal research and energy), sponsored research and consultancy programs, peer reviewed publications, spread of education, conduct of International conferences, custom specific training programs, IPR, technology evolution involving scaling up, demonstration, quality assurance and industry-acceptance.
• These moves have also resulted in a large no of undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral projects, benefitting the students from CPRI, IISc, Bangalore University, IITs, NITs and VTU.
• He is also a Chartered Engineer, has received many awards and holder of many patents & member of professional bodies.
• Recently, Dr. S Seetharamu was involved as the advisor for the Indo-Danish DST-IFD proposal on Ocean wave energy converters that was recently presented at DST office by Principal Investigator Dr. Rathishchandra R Gatti and Director Research Dr. S Manjappa.
• He is currently involved with CPRI research proposals with the mechanical engineering team.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Institute as whole welcomes Dr. Seetharamu to share his expertise, knowledge and experience. Grand Finale of Sahyadri Whiz Quiz 2019
Dept. of Business Administration-MBA organized “Sahyadri Whiz-Quiz 2019', a quiz competition for undergraduates in the Sahyadri Campus. Around 9,000 students participated in the college level quiz, out of which 950 students from selected 48 colleges in the district of Mangalore, Udupi, Kodagu, Karwar, Belgaum, Shimoga, Hassan, Chikmagalur and Kasargod were at the campus for the Grand Finale of the 5th edition of Sahyadri Whiz Quiz.
Mrs. Iris Kunder Maben, an IT and Horticulturist from Mumbai along with Ms. Kavya Gatty, a Senior Officer-Recruitment at TESCO, Bengaluru who is also an alumna of Sahyadri MBA graced the event as Chief Guest & Guest of Honour respectively marking the importance of International Women’s Day.
Prof. Girish M, Chief Coordinator of Sahyadri Whiz Quiz 2019 welcomed the gathering. Dr. Vishal Samartha, Director-MBA introduced Sahyadri and the Dept. of Business Administration to the gathering. She also gave the bird’s eye view of the flagship event Sahyadri Whiz Quiz 2019.
During the inaugural address, Mrs. Iris Kunder Maben spoke about women empowerment and urged each one to never compromise on their dreams and expectations and aim to be financially independent. She shared her journey of life and hoped that it would inspire the young minds.
Ms. Kavya Gatty, spoke about her life at Sahyadri and how the challenges and hard work during her two years of study shaped her future. She further urged students to take up opportunities that come their way to showcase their talent. To talk about women empowerment, she highlighted the journey of Dr. Vishal Samartha, Director-MBA who was her mentor.
Dr. R Srinivasa Rao Kunte, Principal in his Presidential address conveyed that Sahyadri Whiz Quiz is one of the forums to develop their knowledge and skills and should capitalize the opportunity available to them.
Prof. Ramesh K G, coordinator of the event gave away the vote of thanks. Mr. Reese Mathews, Chief Manager, Canara Bank, Bendoorwell, Mangaluru was the Quiz Master.
Immediately after the formal function, the first preliminary round was held. Out of 315 teams of 3 each, 150 teams qualified to the second preliminary round. Finally 6 teams were selected for the Grand Finale.
Mr. Jayaraj Rai, Chairman, Shri Ramakrishna Credit Co-operative Society and Ms. Vidya Shenoy, Head-Talent Acquisition, Manipal Technologies Ltd felicitated the winners during the Valedictory Ceremony. Mahesh College of Commerce & Management, Mangaluru won 1st prize with a trophy and cash prize of Rs. 25,000, Dept. Of Commerce, Manipal won 2nd place with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 15,000, SDM Ujire won 3rd place with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.
Dr. B K Keshavan from PES University visited the campus
Dr. B K Keshavan is a Dean of Academics & Evaluation at PES University. He is a Ph. D from IIT Bombay in “Power System Reliability” and has 36 years of teaching experience. He is currently guiding 4 research scholars and 4 have already been awarded their Ph.D under his guidance. He was awarded the “Centre of Excellence in High Voltage & Power System” from Vision Group on Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Karnataka and received a grant of Rs. 60 Lakhs.
Dr. B K Keshavan met the Principal, Dr. R Srinivasa Rao Kunte and visited all departments along with the various innovative centres in the campus. He was appreciative of the strategies involved with a futuristic approach in all initiatives of Sahyadri.
Arena 2019, Annual Sahyadri Sports Meet
Arena 2019 began with the inaugural ceremony in the presence of the Chief Guest - Mr. Ashton Wikin Coelho, National Athlete and an Alumnus of BE (Batch 2009-13); Dr. R Srinivasa Rao Kunte, Principal; Mr. Balakrishna S S, Vice-Principal; Mr. Sadananda H S, Director of Sports; Ms. Nitisha Rodrigues & Mr. KarnaKumar K S, the Physical Directors, the HODs and the staff & students.
At first, Sahyadrians marched forward in glory representing unity & discipline in a spirit of sportsmanship through March Past. During the inauguration, Ms. Gowri Ganesh, the Sports Secretary introduced the Teams of March Past to the Chief Guest. The programme then included Hoisting of the Flag that signifies the dignity & Integrity of athletes and unites all as a team. Later, the Chief Guest raised the Torch, bearing the light. Mr. Sashwath MR, National Athlete led the team through the oath. Moving on, the VTU Blues – Students who represented VTU in All India Level were honoured.
Mr. Ashton has completed his higher studies in Advanced Construction at National Institute of Construction Management and Research. He now works as Road Safety Contracting Expert & a Road Safety Consultant for Public Works Department and National Highways of Mangalore Division. He is an entrepreneur and founder of Cliwilton Road Safety Inter-ventures. During his inaugural address, he encouraged students to utilize their talent and make use of every opportunity they get. He recalled his good old days at Sahyadri Campus and stimulated students to have fun, be smart and work hard. He made a special mention of Dr. D L Prabhakara, Director-Sahyadri Educational Institutions for all that he did for the institution. He owed his achievements of 13 medals in sports to the Chairman – Mr. Manjunath Bhandary for his perpetual support.
Ms. Sushma from the Eighth Semester Electronics & Communication Engineering received a special recognition from the Chief Guest for winning 14 Medals during her course of study at Sahyadri. Mr. Ashton has also announced Rs 15,000 cash prize for the one who secures 13 medals and more by the end of their course at Sahyadri.

Namrasha N Ganiga of First year MBA won 2nd place in ALL India Inter-University WUSHU competition held at Punjab University, Chandigarh. With this, Sahyadri has scaled higher in its achievement at All India Level competitions as Namrasha is the first to get a Medal for Sahyadri at All India-Inter University Competition.

TCS Techbytes organized at Sahyadri
TCS Techbytes, a Regional level IT Quiz Prelims and final was held at Sahyadri. A total of 20 Colleges from Mangaluru, Chikkamagaluru and Hassan with around 394 students took part in the event. Top 6 Teams were shortlisted for the final round out of which NITK Surathkal comprising of Hrishikesh Thakkar and Pratyush Prakash secured the First Place and Rajath Ballal and Shobith J B From KVG College of Engineering Sullia were the Runners-up. The event happened in the presence of Ms. Shoba Murthy, TCS coordinator; Mr. Loyd Saldhana, the Quiz Master; Dr. R Srinivasa Rao Kunte, Principal; Prof. S S Balakrishna, Vice-Principal; Dr. J V Gorabal, Head of Computer Science & Engineering Dept and Prof. Shailesh Shetty, TCS Sahyadri coordinator.

Students at CII- Knowledge Summit 2019
The Confederation of Indian Industries organized the Knowledge Summit 2019 at Taj West End, Bengaluru. In coordination with Dr. Molly S. Chaudhuri, Dean, Human Resources, who is also a core team member of CII KM, Bengaluru, DTlabz was chosen as the Partner for the Knowledge Summit 2019. Ashwitha Jathan, Sagar K Devadiga, Gagandeep B, Shibani Pinto, Ananya Bangera, Gaurav B L, Nirmal Mathew, Shreyas C. and Abhishek Mallya were the Sahyadri students chosen for the event. The Knowledge Summit 2019 was organized with a theme of "Reimagining the knowledge enterprise". International Speakers from 6 countries belonging to the Global KM Network and many Indian Industry leaders made for a group of 40 highly experienced and reputed speakers.
The team attended a final debriefing meeting about the event at the CII office, Indiranagar. The team also covered a meeting of International speakers of the KM network at Unisys, Whitefield following which they interviewed the international speakers regarding the conference. The students witnessed a total of 6 highly engaging panel discussions, 3 un-conferences and 2 master classes over a span of two days. The students listened to case studies from winners of the MIKE awards which gave them more clarity of how Knowledge Management systems are applied at the work space. It was an enlightening experience for the students to see Knowledge Management being endorsed by Founders and CEOs of top companies of the world. The students also got to interview and interact with many speakers and delegates in the conference. The organizers were very cordial towards the team, immensely appreciated their work and helped the team network with many delegates. Gagandeep B. and Shibani Pinto from the team were chosen to be a part of a global project in Knowledge Management by Vadim Shiryaev, Co-Founder, Somar Network, Russia and Olga Smirnova, also a speaker from Russia, under the guidance of Mr. Madanmohan Rao, Co-founder, Bangalore K-Community. The team expressed their tremendous gratitude to Dr. Molly Chaudhuri for providing them the opportunity to be a part of the amazing event.
Sahyadri organised workshop on Aspects of LTE-4G
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organised a three day workshop on “Aspects of LTE-4G”. The TEQIP 1.3 sponsored workshop was organised in association with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) and RDL Pvt. Ltd.
The inaugural ceremony started with a formal ceremony in the presence of Dr. M.H. Kori, Technical Director (Retd.), Alcatel-Lucent Technologies; Dr. R Srinivasa Rao Kunte, Principal; and Dr. Ashwath Rao, Head of the Department, Electronics & Communication Engineering. Faculty, students and participants from various colleges were also present.
Dr. Ashwath Rao welcomed the dignitaries. He gave a brief introduction about the three-day workshop with its schedule and contents to be imparted in the training.
In his address, Dr. M.H. Kori emphasized on the importance of learning new technologies and tools for faculty and the students. He gave an insight into the importance of wireless communication. He highlighted the history of Department of Telecommunication (DOT) and went on to say that availing telephone connection in India before BSNL existed was a tedious task. He shed some light on various statistics regarding the present mobile phone usage in India and worldwide. As per the survey done as recently as January 2019, over 120 Crores of telephone connections exist in India, out of which 110 crores are mobile users. He said that mobile manufacturing units were not a part of India till 2015 and only one or two indigenous companies manufacture mobile phones as of today.
Dr. Srinivasa Rao Kunte briefed us about the importance of this workshop which is believed to be the cutting edge in the telecommunication domain.

Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering in association with NITK-Surathkal conducted a workshop on Virtual Labs
Virtual Labs is an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development under the National Mission on Education through ICT. A team of ten members from NITK facilitated the sessions. Virtual Labs provide remote-access to Labs in various disciplines of Science and Engineering. These have collaboration with 12 institutions all over India which includes IIT’s, NIT’s & IIIT’s. The broad areas of Virtual Labs are Electronics & Communications, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and so on. The sessions at Sahyadri were conducted for the second & third year students of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering & Information Science Engineering.
Students got an insight into the experiments available in the Virtual labs under various broad areas. Students also got a hands-on experience on simulation, calculations and experiments available. Students of Electronics & Communication Engineering analyzed the characteristics of digital logic families, learnt sampling theorems, convolution of signals, Ohm’s law, full wave rectification, characteristics of RC, RL RLC networks. Computer Science Engineering & Information Science Engineering students conducted experiments based on Karnaugh maps, combinational circuits, programming languages, computer organization etc.

The Student Council under the guidance and support of the college management organized the annual Holi celebration, ‘RangHoli-2019’ in the campus. The celebration was filled with fun, colours, laughter and dance. Colours and refreshments were served to the students participating in the event. Dept. of Civil Engineering in association with Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KPCB) celebrates World Water Day. Dr. S Manjappa, Director of Research, introduced the theme of this year's World water day "Leaving No One Behind". The chief guest of the day was Dr. Lakshman Nandagiri, Department of Applied Mechanics and Hydraulics, NITK, Suratkal. In his address, he stressed upon the need for saving water. He also outlined the present water scenario and the need to conserve it for the future generations. He also spoke about the impact of climate change due to anthropogenic activities. Dr. Amba Shetty, Professor & Head, Dept of Applied Mechanics and Hydraulics, NITK, Suratkal, was the resource person. She spoke about the application of RS and GIS in water resource management. Dr. Basavaraju Manu, Associate Professor, Dept of Civil Engineering, NITK, Suratkal spoke about the role of coastal reservoirs and the advantages of the same. He also explained about the Wastewater Treatment Techniques.
Sri. Rakshekhar Puranik, Senior Environment Officer, KSPCB, Mangaluru and S.S. Balakrishna, Vice President were also present.

Sahyadri NSS Unit felicitates Defense Personnel
To express our gratitude to the brave soldiers for their selfless service to our motherland, Sahyadri NSS Unit invited Mr Ganesh K., Junior Warrant Officer (Retd), Indian Air Force (IAF) and Captain Prashanth Kashyap, Indian Army. Sahyadri felicitated them for their dedicated service to the nation. Mr. Ganesh K. shared experience of his days of service in the IAF. He encouraged students to enroll themselves in the armed forces and said that services in the armed forces is not just about fighting wars, rather it is much more than that. Captain Prasanth Kashyap addressed the students on the various opportunities they have to serve in the defense. Prof. S.S. Balakrishna, Vice Principal, presided over the function and urged the students to choose a career in the armed forced. Dr Rajesha S., Dean Academics and Mrs. Shreelatha U.A., NSS Programme Officer, were also present.
Swacch Soch 50th Seminar at Sahyadri
Mr. Manjunath Bhandary, Chairman, Bhandary Foundation; Swami Jithakamananda Maharaj, Adhyaksha Ramakrishna Math, Mangaluru; Prof. S S Balakrishna, Vice-Principal inaugurated the 50th Swacch Soch Seminar organized by Ramakrishna Mission in association with Sahyadri as a part of the Swacchatha Abhiyan 5th Phase 2018-19. The coordinator of Swacch Soch - Mr. Ranjan Bellarpady, in his Key Note address shared the journey of the last 2 months of Swacch Soch Seminar at 49 colleges reaching 13,000 students. Post this; the resource persons of Swacch Soch comprising of people from various domains like Doctors, Teachers, and Principal of a college, Ex-Serviceman and Home-makers were given certificates and memento as a token of appreciation for their selfless service in this Abhiyan.
During the inaugural address, Mr. Manjunath Bhandary acknowledged Swamiji’s Soch of getting guests to Sahyadri whenever they visit the ashram so that our students benefit from their expertise. He mentioned how the entire workforce of Sahyadri was deputed at the Three-Day training in RIMSE, Mysuru for bringing change in their Soch. He said, Positive thoughts should trigger one’s mind and they should work towards accomplishing it. He said Soch is the foundation of each and every individual.
Swami Jithakamanandji while speaking to the students said that Sahyadri has a special place in his heart as he feels uplifted to a higher state in the campus. He appreciated Sahyadri’s efforts towards Knowledge and Student oriented approach. He further added – Your attitude decides your altitude and the aim of this Seminar is to create awareness in the minds of the people. He re-iterated the 4 duties – Develop internal personality, duty towards family, duty towards the organization we work in and the duty towards the Nation.
Technical Talk on ‘Water Treatment practices using Ultra and Micro filtration’ by the Dept. of Civil Engineering
Department of Civil Engineering in association with SPACE conducted a technical talk on ‘Water Treatment practice using Ultra and Microfiltration’. The resource person of the talk was Mr. Chidanand Bhargav Bharadwaj, Senior Engineer, Process Engineering and Environment, JBF Petrochemicals Ltd., Mangaluru SEZ, Karnataka. In his talk, he highlighted the basic concepts of water treatment and discussed the technical aspects related to membrane filtration. The students of Pre-final year Civil Engineering were a part of this event.

10th Rank holder in VTU MBA Exams 2017-18 visits his alma mater
Recently, the VTU Rank list was released and the Dept. of Business Administration celebrated the 2 Ranks secured by its students – 5th Rank and 10th Rank. Mr. Varun K, currently working at KPMG GDC, Bengaluru as Audit Associate visited his alma mater to express his gratitude for the ongoing support rendered by the department in his achievement of securing 10th Rank in VTU MBA exams 2017-18.
He spoke to the first and second year MBAs and shared his success story. He gave input on how he was able to make his dream of securing a rank come true. He said – A student from a rural background dreaming of a rank is not easy hence he doubled his efforts by teaching his fellow classmates which strengthened his confidence in the course curriculum. He added – Sahyadri is a hub of opportunities and visited IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore and IIM Indore for Management fests and workshops. He urged his juniors to capitalize on the opportunities in attending conferences, pursuing additional projects apart from VTU projects during vacation. He aspires to be a Teacher and is attempting UGC NET soon.

 Mr. Anil Uppin, Advisor to Technical Career Education (TCE) Pvt. Ltd. and Former Managing Director, KCTU visited Sahyadri. He addressed the heads of In-House Industries and Start-Ups, HoDs and other faculty member. He enlightened the audience on the area like providing internship opportunity for the Sahyadri students and faculty members in core companies where students groups are to be formed branch-wise and proposals sent to relevant industries.
Further, Mr. Uppin gave guidance on how to convert industry visits into placement opportunities. He gave insights into areas like how to approach funding agencies, application of technologies into various streams of Engineering, take up projects on outsourcing model. Further he had a couple of meetings with the Industry heads to scale up the industries to the next level. Dr. Manjappa Sarathy, Director, Research and Consultancy facilitated the meeting.

IoT & Embedded System Exhibition at Sahyadri
As a part of Industry and Academic Interaction, a One-day exhibition on IoT & Embedded Systems was jointly conducted by Department of Electronics & Communication and RDL Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The exhibition witnessed the active participation of more than 30+ batches of pre-final year engineering students. The students demonstrated the products at the exhibition. The first year students utilized their time in knowing the technical details and understanding the various applications of IoT and Embedded Systems in real life. The three segments of products displayed at the event were Industrial Sensors, Development and Prototyping.
Motive of the exhibition was to create awareness among students about recent ongoing research, issues and challenges faced by industry and solutions for the same. Third Year students familiarized themselves with the various industrial products and solutions along with the driving technology to further transfer the knowledge gained by them to the next generation of students. The students were motivated to involve in industry-academic research activities. This would help bring out budding entrepreneurial talents to the foreground during their next three years of engineering. More than 700 students participated in the event. RDL Technologies made full-fledged arrangement by providing their sensors, development boards, and products.
The event was coordinated by the faculty members of Department of Electronics & Communication.

Ms. Nishal Nivya Rodrigues, student of final year Electronics and Communication Engineering has successfully completed her internship in National Design and Research Forum (NDRF) on “Generating Cognitive Event-Related Potentials (ERPS) Stimuli Using Psychopy – An Open-Source Stimulus Program” under the guidance of Dr. Mahesh Jayachandra M.D., Ph.D. Head, Bio-Engineering Group, NDRF, Bengaluru. Nishal has extended a heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mahesh Jayachandra and Dr. K. Ramachandra, Director, NDRF, for their guidance and support during the internship and also thanked NDRF for the opportunity to interact with Lt. General [Retd] Dr. V J Sundaram and other distinguished scientists.

GSB Premier League 2019 (GPL), a floodlit Goud Saraswat Brahmin (GSB) over-arm cricket tournament was organized at Sahyadri River-Side Cricket Stadium.
GSB Kundapura emerged as the champions and Irvathur Sports Manipal were the Runners-Up at the GPL 2019.
