Quoting the late Ha.Ma.Nayak, the academician and writer he said that with all the wisdom and knowledge acquired human beings do not respond in a humane way.

Speaking about Sinchana-2014, he referred to Abraham Lincoln’s letter written to his son’s headmaster, where Lincoln wrote that one should accept defeat and should not attain success through underhand means and one should not be driven solely by competition but should feel and experience the event. He wished the gathering and gave a call to be humane and respect each other, accept defeat gracefully and only then will one’s personality bloom in society.

Mr. Jagannath Chowta, Trustee, Bhandary Foundation was the President of the function. In his presidential remark, he narrated some stories and gave a call to the students that we should be proud that we are from the state of Karnataka and we should remember and respect our mother tongue and culture.
