The Zonal Level Competitions of Sahyadri Science Talent Hunt-2014 were held at Aurobindo Independent PU College, Javalli, Shimoga. Prof. S. M. Joseph inaugurated the program. Prof. Bhavanishankar, Vice Principal, Aurobindo Independent PU College, was the president of the function. Mr. Janardhana D. R., Assistant Professor, Department of Information Science & Engineering, and Mr. Steven Lawrence Fernandes, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management coordinated the guests. All the faculty members greatly appreciated Sahyadri growth and students appreciated the facilities available at Sahyadri.
Enablement Workshop by Wipro Technologies Held in the Campus
Enablement Workshop by Mr. Mohan Kumar, Practice Head at Wipro Technologies & Team conducted the workshop. The first session was about the company profile of Wipro. He also emphasized on the forces driving business and the advantages of technologies .The session comprised technical skills, commodity skills and niche skills. The afternoon session concentrated more on soft skill which is very essential for the corporate world.120 students of Computer Science & Engineering, Information Science & Engineering and Master of Computer Applications were present for the session.

Mr. Mohan Kumar, Practice Head & team, Wipro Technologies, will conduct the Enablement Workshop for MBA students on CRM from 09:00 A. M. to 01:00 P. M. in the Seminar Hall, ground floor.
