Subhod, an Alumnus interacts with the faculties
Mr. Subhod I, an alumnus of Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, currently working as a Software Engineer for Persistent Systems Ltd, interacted with the Placement Team and the faculties of Department of Computer Science & Engineering. During his interaction, he discussed about the relevance of core subjects in the industry. He also spoke about the research areas and the emerging technologies in the industry and the importance of aptitude to get placed in reputed organizations.
Sahaj, an Alumnus interacts with the students and faculties
Mr. Sahaj K V, Research Scholar, Applied Mechanics, NITK, Surathkal, an alumnus of Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management addressed the students from the Department of Civil Engineering of 3rd and 7th Semester. During the interaction, Mr. Sahaj K V stressed on the importance of pursuing higher education after B.E. He spoke about the work culture and students' attitude towards learning in premium institutions. He highlighted the importance of preparation pertaining to entrance exams right from third semester since these exams dealt with the basic concepts alone. He also expressed the importance of converting the student projects to publication and explained on how it would add value to the student profile. He also interacted with the HOD and faculties of the department.
