Prior to 7 years of experience at MResult Services Pvt Ltd, Karishma has worked in Mphasis Pvt Ltd for a period of 3 years as a Voice & Accent Trainer and Quality Analyst. She is the sibling of Prof. Sushma V, Dept. of Business Administration.

Quiz Competition organized in Commemoration of National Constitution Day Quiz Competition organized in Commemoration of National Constitution Day In commemoration of National Constitution Day, an inter-class quiz competition was organized for the first year students of all branches of engineering on the theme of Indian Constitution.

Six teams were formed and the students participated in the competition with two rounds. Mr. Srujan S & Mr. Pratham Prabhu of 1st Year Engineering ‘H’ Section won the First Prize while the Second Prize was bagged by Ms. Sinchana & Ms. Chaitali of 1st Year Engineering ‘F’ Section.

First Year Engineering Student receives Accident Medical Claim through College Group Insurance Policy

First Year Engineering Student receives Accident Medical Claim through College Group Insurance Policy Mr. Raushan Fayaz, a First Year Engineering student received a sum of Rs 50,000/- as Accident Medical Claim through the College Accident Group Insurance Policy. The student had suffered a broken elbow due to an accident for which he had undergone a surgery.

Sahyadri has provided accident group insurance coverage to all students and one parent of the students through TATA AIG Insurance.

Mr. Raushan received the claim amount of up to 98% of the total expenses incurred for the treatment. Dr. R Srinivasa Rao Kunte, Principal and Mr. Ramesh Hegde, Finance Officer handed over the cheque to the student. Mr. Ankith S Kumar, Student Counsellor assisted in the claim process.

Prof. Sachin C N Shetty has 5 years of teaching experience in Sahyadri. He graduated from BGSIT, Mandya with specialization in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He pursued his Masters’ from AIT Chikkamagluru with Digital Electronics and Communication Systems as specialization. His areas of interest are Communication and Networking.

Mentees’ Details:
• Karthik R is from Ballari. He pursued his schooling from St. Peter’s High School and PUC from Pupil Tree PU College, Ballari. His hobbies are playing keyboard, singing, dance, music making etc. His ambition is to start his own company.
• Mahabaleshwar Bhat is from Sirsi. He pursued his schooling from SSVHS, Heggarani and PUC in SDM PU College, Ujire. His hobbies are cycling and research. His ambition is to become a great scientist.
• Poojith Kumar is from Mangaluru. He pursued his schooling from Bharathi English Medium School and PUC from St. Aloysius PU College, Mangaluru. His hobbies are painting, photography etc. His ambition is to become an inventor.
• Karthik K V is from Subramanya. He pursued his schooling from Kumara Swamy Vidyalaya and PUC from SSPU College, Subramanya. His hobbies are playing cricket, volleyball etc. His ambition is to get placed in a core company.
• Pooja N is from Bengaluru. She pursued her schooling from SVPS and PUC from Sri Chaithanya PU College, Mangaluru. Her hobbies are reading books, listening to music etc. Her ambition is to become an IPS officer.
• Navyashree Naik is from Manjeshwar. She pursued her schooling from SVVHS, Miyapadavu and PUC from Parijnan Pre University College, Someshwar. Her hobbies are reading books, listening to music, performing Yakshagaana etc. Her ambition is to build good projects which serve individuals.
