Lakshmi Pooja held in Campus while Imparting Awareness about Diwali Tradition

It is the tradition to worship Goddess Lakshmi for health and prosperity every year during Diwali, in Sahyadri. Keeping the tradition alive, Lakshmi Pooja was held in the campus on 14 Nov’2020.
Diwali is celebrated as a symbol of goodness. Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped for Prosperity. Moreover, this festival is an indication of the victory of good over evil.
Blessings of Goddess Lakshmi were invoked by Sahyadrians on this auspicious occasion of Lakhsmi Pooja.
During Diwali houses are lighted up with diyas and all elements of darkness are purged out. The festival of Diwali culminates into Bhai Dooj which celebrates the relationship between brother and sister.
And the message is.. Spread love and not hatred, spread peace and not chaos and finally, live in peace and harmony.

Team Challengers at Sahyadri Achieves at National Level Aero-modelling Challenge

Team Challengers has added yet another accolade to their mantle by bagging 2nd Place at Skyrush 2020, a National Level Virtual Aero-modelling Competition organized by the Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Manipal.
The team consisting of Pranav Satish, Mukesh Kumar, Raynol Menezes, Rajmohan Kamath, from 3rd Year Electronics & Communication Engineering and Shrinidhi I.S., Pratham K.B. from 3rd Year Mechanical Engineering successfully completed a Virtual Flying Simulation round and a Presentation round to achieve this feat.
The team also submitted a detailed report enumerating the various operations that went into the conceptualization and design of the model aircraft which was designed for the transport of sanitizers and PPE kits. The team has topped in the detailed Design Report round and Virtual Flying Test by achieving maximum score.
Team Challengers is a unique technical hub that provides massive opportunities in various fields like Aero-modeling, Aerial, and Ground Robotics thus helping students to boost their technical skills.
