Meeting to discuss the Road Map for CoE Cyber Security held at the Campus
A Meeting was called by Dr. Ananth Prabhu G., Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and Principal Investigator of VGST Project ‘Centre of Excellence (COE) Digital Forensics Intelligence’ with the Core Members of Cyber Security Committee. The agenda of the Meeting was to discuss the Road Map for CoE Cyber Security.
Key highlights of the Meeting are as follows:
• MoUs with potential stakeholders
• Organizing Webinars, All Karnataka Cyber Security Quiz and Boot Camps on trending concepts in Cyber Security
• Launch the Mangalore - Cyber Safe Programme for all schools, and
• Contributors as solution-finders on Problem statements related to Cyber Crime
Dr. S. Rajesha, Principal, and Dr. Mustaffa - Guest & Mentor of Dr. Ananth Prabhu G., concluded the meeting by sharing the significance of Data Science, AI and Cyber Security and how research in these areas can be of national importance.

Prof. Shailesh Shetty S., Prof. Harisha, Prof. Srinivas P.M., Prof. Supriya, Prof. Alakananda from the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering completed the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy Online Faculty Development Programme on "Cyber Security" during 9-13 Nov’2020, organised by Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumakuru.
