A-Practical-Introduction-to-Market-Research Mr. Thomas Isaac, The Resource Person for the Webinar, began his session by giving an introduction of his organization - Intuit Research, Hong Kong - and explained about the reasons for performing Marketing Research for business decisions to be made.
The participants were provided with insights into Data Collection methodologies and acceptable practices for writing reports and reviewing the project. He pointed out on the examples of qualitative and quantitative study which also address and say that the environment has been increasingly evolving with customer preferences, and people's behavior also changes accordingly. He elaborated on market research’s effects by offering a deeper understanding with such live examples.
Mr. Thomas highlighted on Data Analytics and a few headstones during the online qualitative session which talks about the use of realistic and creative solutions in market research.
The feedback on the growth of a career and the skills to be possessed by students to make their future in Market Research were also acquired at the end of an engaging session. About 169 participants from various colleges participated in the Webinar.
About the Resource Person:
Mr. Thomas Isaac’s research career spans 27 years, with roles across India, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Singapore. He is the Director and Co-founder of Intuit Research, a Boutique Research Agency with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, London and Lisbon, conducting international research projects in the financial services, Technology, Healthcare and Public Affairs sectors.
Mr. Thomas has conducted research across sectors in the commercial space - Consumer, Financial Services, Technology, Automotive and Pharmaceuticals. He has overseen research across all regions of the world. He holds an MBA degree from Ohio University, USA.
