Training and Placement – Tech Mahindra, Technical Internship Program

As part of their Academia – Industry Interface, Tech Mahindra launches a brand-new internship program for Technical Graduates. The program has been carefully curated to offer young individuals an opportunity to put their academic skills into practice while gaining relevant industry and domain experience.
The internship program will be spread over a period of nine months which also includes a month-long self-learning with mentoring prior to commencement. The program is designed to be outcome driven leading to full-time working opportunities based on individual performance. The confirmation of such an opportunity will be provided at the end of the sixth month.
Academic Eligibility
• Qualifying Courses – BE/B.Tech -
CS/CE/IT/E&C/E&TC/Telecom/Communication/Electronics;
• Candidate should have passed out qualifying course in 2020 without any backlog. 2021 pass-outs are also eligible;
• Candidate should have scored min. of 60% in SCC/10th, HSC/12th /Diploma (in case done) and BE/B.Tech/MCA;
• Not more than one year gap since SSC after joining a course.
Selection Process:
• Candidates shortlisted from the registered list will be called for the series of assessments - Aptitude Test, Communication Test, Technical (Basic Programming Test) and Business Interview with each of these acting as filter for next stage on selection process.
• Online assessment(s) would be conducted before onboarding the student to the internship program.
• All rounds of assessments will be conducted virtually.
• Assessment details will be communicated to eligible students over a mail.
• Candidate holding certifications like OCP, MCP, AWS, RPA, SAP, Coursera (in credit mode), edX (in credit mode) etc, would be given the preference.
On selection:
• Candidate will be guided through 1 month of self-mode learning with mentoring, prior to 8 months of internship
• Candidate will be provided with full-time working opportunity based on performance and confirmation will be communicated at the end of 6 months of internship.
Workplace and Timings:
Candidate should be willing to work at any of the TechM Development centres or Client Locations spread across the country as per the company specified work timings including shift working.

Bridge Course for Third Batch of Engineering Aspirants - Day Seven

The Day Seven of Bridge Course included Programming of the RC-bots and assembling of the Line Follower.
In the morning session, the students programmed their RC-bots. The session was conducted by the trainer Ms. Shibani Pinto.
In the afternoon session, students indulged themselves in assembling their Line follower robots using DreamKit. The session was led by Mr. Dhanush & Ms. Hithaishy B. who helped students to finish assembling their robots.

MBA Dept. organises a Webinar on “Analysis of Financial Statements” for Final Year students

A Webinar on “Analysis of Financial Statements” was organised by MBA Dept. on 7 Nov’2020. The session was facilitated by CA Balakrishna Mayyala, Head of Tax – Allegis Group – India. The objective of the Webinar was to enable MBA students to read financial statements from annual reports and analyse it using financial ratios.
Key highlights of the session:
• The first step in analysis of financial statements is the analysis of the segment of the company;
• The stakeholders interested in evaluation of financial statements;
• Contents of Annual reports were discussed - corporate overview, statutory reports;
• Financial statement analysis – balance sheet, P&L account, cash flow statements.
About the Resource Person:
CA Balakrishna Mayyala is a Chartered Accountant with a rich experience of 13 years in the areas of Tax & Compliance, Litigation & Tax Strategies and Group Reporting in MNC Companies; Expertise knowledge and hands on experience in corporate tax including Transfer pricing, International tax, Group reporting and working experience in indirect tax strategies; and Working knowledge in shared service environment including tax transformation, setting up/modifications in process, leading the teams for accurate and timely deliverable.
