Mphasis Campus Recruitment Online Test at Sahyadri
An online test for Mphasis Campus Recruitment Drive was held in the Campus. 350 students from the pool Engineering colleges participated in this test. Six students from Sahyadri have been shortlisted.
Sahyadri Talent
 Anusree, Semester I, Civil Engineering, is a Classical Singer. She has participated and won many prizes in Classical Music Competitions held at the School, College and at the State level.

Zonal Level Workshop and Championship on Quadcopter
A two-day Mangalore zonal level Workshop and Championship on Quadcopter (UAV) has been organized on Saturday, 25th of October 2014 and Sunday, 26th of October 2014 in the College. The event is a part of RoboFeast-2015 in association with IIT Roorkee. A total of 100 students from various Engineering colleges of Mangalore zone are participating in the event.

Sahyadri Talent Hunt-2014
The presentation introducing Sahyadri Science Talent Hunt-2014 was organized in Apsara Public School, NA Model HSS, BEMHSS, Kasaragod and GHSS, Cherkala. The team comprising of Mr. Kiran Prakash, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering, Probid, Mohammed Anwar, Semester VII, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mudassir, and Sachin Kumar Nair, Semester V, Mechanical Engineering delivered sessions on the Science Talent Hunt programme, career options in Science stream, projects, method and reference for executing projects. The presentations were followed by demonstration shows of the projects of Sahyadri students.
