Corporate Social Responsibility: Free Health Checkup and Competition For Healthy Child
A free health checkup and competition for healthy child was jointly organized by Lions and Lioness Club of Bantwal, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Women and Child Development, Taluk Panchayat, Bantwal, at Primary Health Center, Pudu Village. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. A. P. Achar, Director, Department of Business Administration, Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management. District Health Officer Dr. Shivakumar, Lion. Dr. Vasanth Baliga, Dr. Jeevan Lasrado, and Sri Krishnakumar Poonja of Sevanjali Trust were present.
The whole programme was sponsored by the College. The programme was co-ordinated by Mr. B. Raghavendra Prabhu and Dr. Vidyavathi, faculty members, Department of Business Administration and volunteered by members of Sahyadri Management Students Association.

Zonal Level Workshop and Championship on Quadcopter
A two-day Mangalore zonal level Workshop and Championship on Quadcopter (UAV) has been organized on Saturday, 25th of October 2014 and Sunday, 26th of October 2014 in the College. The event is a part of RoboFeast-2015 in association with IIT Roorkee. A total of 100 students from various Engineering colleges of Mangalore zone are participating in the event.
