Chairman Addresses Faculty Members on Sahyadri Talent Hunt
Mr. Manjunath Bhandary, Chairman, interacted with the faculty members regarding Sahyadri Science Talent Hunt.
Briefing on the topic he said that the faculty members and students can combine and execute the programme. He explained the steps to be followed in implementing the programme successfully. There are three steps to implement the idea; Identifying and interacting with P.U. Colleges, Conducting career guidance programme and competitions, finally identifying the winners and awarding them in a mega event of ‘Sahyadri Science Talent Hunt’ to be held at Sahyadri campus. He also gave a call to the faculty members to create interest on the topic so that the students are motivated to take up the project.
The demo presentation of career guidance for the faculty members will be given by Mr. Ananth Prabhu on 10th October 2014 at 4.00 P.M.

Sahyadri Talent
 Kavyashree, Semester I, Computer Science & Engineering, is an upcoming Dancer. She has participated and bagged many prizes in Dance Competition and Singing Competition. She has bagged the first prize in Dance Competition held at the school level and won the first prize in Singing Competition held at the District level.
Tech Mahindra Ltd. Recruitment Drive Held in the Campus
Mr. Raju N. G., Resource Management Group, Tech Mahindra Ltd. conducted a campus recruitment drive for 143 B. E. and MCA students of the College. Thirty-eight students of the College have been shortlisted by the company. A final interview for pool colleges – St. Joseph Engineering College, Canara Engineering College, Srinivas Institute of Technology and Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management will be held in the Campus tomorrow.
