CLOUDS Student Association Inaugurated
CLOUDS (Computer Legends Of the Unified Department @Sahyadri), the student association for the academic year 2015-16 was inaugurated by Professor Sudheer Shetty, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. In his address he laid importance on health and about how attitude affects the success of a student. This was then followed by Cultural activities by the students.

Alumnus Guides Students on Technical Interview
Mr.Vasudevan, Software Engineer- R & D, Frauscher Sensar Technologies and an alumnus of Sahyadri, conducted a session for the final year engineering students on how to approach and be successful in handling technical interviews during campus recruitment. He briefed the students on corporate expectations from fresh graduates.
Upcoming Event
• Tech Mahindra will be visiting Sahyadri to conduct a campus recruitment for the candidates passing out in the year 2016 which is exclusively for the students of Sahyadri on Monday, the 12th of October 2015. Around 250 final year Engineering students will be participating in this drive.
• Mahindra Auto Quotient will conduct AQ Round in the Campus on Monday, 12th October, 2015. Sahyadri will be the centre for Dakshina Kannada region Engineering Colleges. Students of any branch and any semester of Engineering and also the faculty members can participate in this competition.
Mahindra Auto Quotient (AQ) has been engaging auto enthusiasts from the engineering and management fraternity for the past six years. Through this, it has established its position as India's largest automotive quiz for students to showcase their passion about the world of automobiles. Beginning with the City Finals conducted across 16 institutes across the country last year, they have seen more than 1 lakh participants so far. Regional Final rounds and National Finals aired on NDTV 24x7 & NDTV Profit received a viewership of 25 Lacs across India winning it the prestigious Indian Television award for Best Quiz in 2010.
