NGCN Pooled Campus Recruitment Drive
NGCN Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd. conducted a pooled campus recruitment drive for the 2015 batch of students in the Computer Science & Engineering, Information Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and MBA streams. One hundred plus students attended the drive out of which twenty-five students have been shortlisted.
Next Generation Converged Network (NGCN) offers innovative solutions on cloud and converged networks. NGCN works with Power Net to achieve this goal.

• Swami Jitakamanandaji, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Mangalore and Swami Veereshananda Saraswati, President, Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashrama, Tumkur, will be visiting the College on Saturday, the 3rd of October 2015 and will interact with all the faculty members from 02:00 P.M. to 03:30 P.M. on the topic “Reflections on Ancient, Contemporary & New-Gen Education” followed by distribution of certificates for the faculty members who attended the symposium “PRAJNA’15.
• The inaugural of "Sahyadri Entrepreneurship Center" and "Sahyadri Edu DREAMERS R&D Pvt. Ltd. will be held in the Sahyadri Premises on 3rd, October 2015 at 12:00 pm, in the Sahyadri Auditorium. On this occasion a 2-day workshop will be held on “Entrepreneurship and Business Plan” on the 3rd and 4th of October 2015, where personalities from the corporate will speak on initiating a startup and making a business plan.
• An ISO 9001:2008 surveillance audit will be conducted by the TUV NORD group on October 5 and October 6, 2015.

Civil Engineering Students Visit Bhandary Meridian
The students of the final year civil engineering visited Bhandary Meridian, the construction site near Bejai, Mangalore and observed the reinforcement work being carried out at the project site as a part of their weekly internship program. The students interacted with the project engineer and collected information pertaining to their area of study.

Tomorrow at Sahyadri
The Department of Art And Culture will be hosting a cultural fest Sinchana 2015 in the campus beginning at 09:00 A.M. Classical Singing (solo), Classical Dance (solo), Eastern/Western Singing (solo and group), Eastern /Western dance (group), Variety Entertainment, Poster Making and Photography are some of the competitions that will be held for the students.
