Tomorrow at Sahyadri
Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) in association with Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management will be conducting an Inter Professional Collegiate Debate Competition - 2015 `Corruption in India-A Cause of Instability and Poverty’ at Sahyadri Seminar Hall from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. The Chief Guest for the inaugural function will be Sri. Y. Ravindranath, ITS, Chief Vigilance Officer, MRPL, and the Guest of Honour will be Sri. P. G. Ramakrishna, General Manager (Vigilance), MRPL. The valedictory will be held at 4:00 P.M. The objective of this Debate Competition is to increase the awareness on ill effects of corruption for students of engineering, medicine, dental and management disciplines. Twenty-two colleges in the Mangalore & Udupi region will be taking part in the competition.

Guest Lecture by CA SS Nayak
CA SS Nayak addressed the first year MBA students on the topic "Compliance for startups and forms of ownership. He spoke about the various forms of ownership such as sole trading firm, partnership firm, company form and trust. He also explained about various laws governing the business. There were also discussions on process of registration of a firm. The session was followed by an interaction with students.
