Feedback from Placed Students

“I would like to share my experience during the iWave systems campus drive.

The recruitment process had two rounds; the first round was a 45 min written test (MCQ). It had 20 general aptitude questions and technical questions which had hardware and software sections of 10 questions each. The candidate had to choose any one section.

The second round was a technical interview. It was different for software and hardware sections. Since I chose the hardware section, the HR asked all the questions from the previous semester subjects of E&C and he almost covered all the subjects. Most of the questions were based on microcontroller and microprocessor, because the company works on these lines. For the software section candidates, the HR asked all computer science related questions.

I did an SPSS project, developed on an iWave development platform under the guidance of Prof. Steven Lawrence Fernandes which impressed the HR. So it is better if you have company related projects. It will help during the interview. The core company needs technical knowledge, so don’t neglect your subjects and be thorough with the basics, also maintain more than 70% aggregate.”
