Johnson Tellis en route to Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology
Mr. Johnson Tellis, alumnus of the college is en route to the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) [MIPT], Russia, where he will pursue an international Masters Degree Program 2015/17 on “Neural Networks and Neural Computers” on the English language. The entire Sahyadri family wishes him every success in the future.
Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) is one of the most prestigious institutions of education and research in the world. It trains highly qualified specialists in theoretical and applied physics, applied mathematics, informatics, biotechnology and related disciplines. MIPT was founded in 1951 by Nobel laureates: Pyotr Kapitsa, Nikolay Semyonov, Lev Landau.
MIPT has used a unique system of education, which is commonly known as the “Phystech System”. Team HAWK Will Represent Sahyadri at SAE Aero Design Event in the USA
Team HAWK, the Aero Design team of Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management are Westward bound to Fort Worth, Texas, USA. Mohammad Anwar (Team Captain), Probid J Panikkan (E&C), Amritha khandare (E&C), Tharanath (Mech), Midhun Jyothis (Civil), Rajgokul (E&C), Nithin (CS), Gouse Khan (IS), and Gerald (E&C) have been selected to participate in this year’s SAE Aero Design event which will be held in Fort Worth, Texas USA from March 11-13, 2016. The team successfully registered and has received confirmation of their participation. The team advisers are Dr Tenzin Pasang and Dr Rathishchandra Gatti, professors of the college.
Tomorrow at Sahyadri
• Infosys is visiting the campus on the 7th and the 8th of October, 2015 for a pooled campus recruitment drive of the 2016 batch students as the Day 1 company. Around 500 final year students of Engineering from pool colleges will be participating in this drive.
• The Sahyadri Management Student Association for the academic year 2015-16 will be inaugurated at 2:00 P.M. in the Nethravathi Auditorium. Mr. Arun Gundmi, General Manager-Sales, NGCN Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd., NITK-STEP, Surathkal, will be the Chief Guest.
