Anisha R Shetty, Fifth semester, Department of Mechanical Engineering represented Karnataka and has won Bronze medal in 57 to 60 kg category Muaythai competition at Muaythai India National Championship held at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Pooled Campus Drive by Axis Bank
Axis Bank, India's third largest private sector bank conducted a lateral recruitment drive at Sahyadri. Mr. Karthik, Manager-HR and Mr. Raghavendra N, Circle HR Head, Hubli initiated this drive which had 52 participants from different colleges. The Bank has a large footprint of 2,589 domestic branches spread across the country. The overseas operations of the Bank are spread over eight international offices with branches at Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, Colombo and Shanghai; representative offices at Dubai and Abu Dhabi and an overseas subsidiary at London, UK.

Renita Dcunha, Shreyas G & Nagraj K M would be placed as Career Development Manager with a package of 6.06 lakhs per annum and Akshatha Nayak would be placed as Recruitment Executive (Management Trainee) with a package of 4.62 lakhs per annum.
