First year Engineering students win places at IIT Gandhinagar

There were 24 Teams from all over India who participated in Amalthea’18, a Technical Summit at IIT Gandhinagar and it’s a great honour to mention that 'Team Meraki' of Sahyadri, comprising of 19 students from First year Engineering have won both 1st and 2nd prize in 'Roboquest' event of Amalthea’18 at IIT Gandhinagar.

MBA Dept organized “SAMMILAN”, an Alumni Meet 2018

Alumni are the key stakeholders who play a prominent role in the success of any institution and hence it is imperative to connect with them regularly. Under the banner of “Sammilan”, an Alumni Meet 2018 was an effort of the Dept. of Business Administration-MBA to engage and seek valuable feedback from the alumni. It was an informal get together that was organized to get connected with the alumni and make the bond stronger with the institute. A gala evening with music, dance, games, food and fun, started off with a formal programme in which Dr. Vishal Samartha, Director-MBA shared the success story of Sahyadri and apprised the alumni of the recent developments that took place from the holistic perspective of the institute. Post this, alumni volunteered to give a Cultural show along with the current Student Council Members which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. It was a great forum for get together and cherish past experiences and moments. Each one left with a bag of memories and promised to return for the next meet.
