Sahyadrians secure Internship at Capgemini

Three students from Computer Science & Engineering have secured internship at Capgemini through Technical Career Education (TCE). These students have been trained by the Center of Excellence for Cybersecurity at Sahyadri. They would be in Capgemini campus, Bellandur for a period of one month and will be developing software on Blockchain for IKEA (a Swedish company).

MBA Faculty invited as Guest of Honour for the International Symposium at Ramakrishna Autonomous Institution in Coimbatore

Dr. Sharan Kumar Shetty, Professor, Dept. of Business Administration-MBA was invited as the Guest of Honour for the International Symposium held at Ramakrishna Autonomous Institution in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

The delegates from 40 institutions in and around Tamil Nadu participated in the symposium. Dr. Sharan spoke on the topic "Industry Expectations from GEn Z Leaders - Innovations and Challenges”.

Introduction of the Mentor:
Dr. R Srinivasa Rao Kunte is the Principal and Professor at the Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering. He is an academician with overall 37 years of teaching experience which includes 19 years of Research and 30 years of Administrative experience. He was the Academic Senate Member of VTU and Chairman of BOS in E&C/TC board of VTU. He is also a member of COMEDK Executive council. He is a member of IEEE, IETE and life member of ISTE. Dr R Srinivasa Rao Kunte is a reviewer of reputed national and international journals. He has published many papers in the reputed international journals and has executed several AICTE sponsored projects as the Principal Investigator.

Introduction of Mentees:
• Gayathri Devi K is from Belthangady. She pursued her SSLC from SDM High School Ujire and PUC from SDM PU College Ujire. Her hobbies are listening to music and reading books. Her ambition is to get placed in an IT Sector. She also intends to work for the welfare of the poor and the needy.
• Bhoomika is from Mangaluru. She pursued her SSLC from Mahatma Gandhi Centenary High School Bondel and PUC from Padua PU College Mangaluru. She is an NSS Cadet. Her hobbies are Drawing, Crafting, Listening to Music & Reading. Her ambition is to work for HAIL.
• Sushmitha is from Bantwal. She pursued her SSLC from SVS English Medium School Bantwal and PUC from Sharada Vidyalaya Mangaluru. Her hobbies are Listening to Music, Dancing and Reading books. She wants to work with Intel.
• Pratheek T A is from Puttur. He pursued his SSLC from Vivekananda English Medium School Puttur and PUC from Vivekananda PU College Puttur. His hobbies are Listening to Music and Photo editing. He wants to become a Master in Coding.
• K S Narasimha Sharma is from Mangaluru. He pursued his SSLC from Yenepoya School Mangaluru and PUC from Boscos PU College Mangaluru. He won 3rd place in National Level Science fair held at Yenepoya School. He likes to write poems and short stories. His hobbies are Playing games and Reading books. He wants work with ISRO.
