Entrepreneurship Cell of MBA Dept organized a Webinar on “Cocoon to Butterfly, an Entrepreneurial Journey"

The Entrepreneur Cell of the Dept. of Business Administration organized a Webinar on “Cocoon to Butterfly” - An Entrepreneurial Journey of Sahyadrians on 9 Oct’2020.
Dr. Rajesh S., Principal and Dr. Vishal Samartha, Director-MBA congratulated the Guest Speakers who are the Alumni of MBA and expressed deep pleasure on their having become successful Entrepreneurs today. The first session was facilitated by Alumnus Mr. Ashwin Heri, Tulunad Traders. He threw light on his career growth and the challenges he faced. He also provided information about how online markets work and understanding its loopholes.
The next session was chaired by Alumnus Mr. Aakash Rai, Founder of Travas India. He began the session by reminiscing about Sahyadri and the tours undertaken as part of the curriculum which led him to start Travel business.
The third session was by Alumni Mr. Karthish Shet, Zabt Proprietor Fitness Club and J.K. Enterprises, Mangaluru. He gleefully states that his passion for fitness started from his school days. This same passion turned into a profession and drove him towards becoming what he is today - a Successful Entrepreneur.
The Guest Speakers also answered various questions posed by the students on Govt rules for licensing and funding etc. Students benefited a lot from this Webinar.
‘Cocoon to Butterfly’ refers to transformation and change. Indeed getting transformed from Scratch to a Successful Entrepreneur is no mean feat. This has been proved by the Alumni Speakers who spurred the students on how to start a successful business.

MBA Faculty completes a Five-Day Online Workshop on “Data Analysis using SPSS” sponsored by ATAL Academy

Prof. Sushma V., Dept. of Business Administration-MBA successfully completed a Five-Day Online Workshop on “Data Analysis using SPSS” sponsored by AICTE Training And Learning (ATAL) Academy organized by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, Telangana State. Out of 468 Online Workshops open for registration on ATAL Website, Prof. Sushma V. enrolled to this course as she is currently pursuing her Ph.D, and upskilling on Data Analysis will contribute to quality in her research.
As a rule, participants were eligible for the ‘Workshop completion Certificate’ only after passing the online examination conducted on the last day of the workshop.

Student Counselor attends an Online Workshop on "Power Boost your Self - Esteem" organised by AICTE, New Delhi

Mr. Ankith S. Kumar, Student Counselor, attended an Online Workshop on "Power Boost Your Self- Esteem" organised by AICTE, New Delhi. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Karthik Poovanam, Leadership Coach.
Mr. Poovanam explained the importance of self-analysis and constant striving for self-improvement. Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of AICTE, New Delhi gave the Keynote address.
