G.O.A.L.S. - the Fitness Protocols Link made Available in the Sahyadri Website

With a view to creating a healthy lifestyle among the people, a Link extension is made available in the Sahyadri website which contains Fitness Protocols G.O.A.L.S (Goals for Active Life Style) issued by the Govt. of India.
Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports under the aegis of the Fit India Movement has developed Age Appropriate Fitness Protocols named G.O.A.L.S. (Goals for Active Life Style) for different age groups categorized as 05-18 years, 18-65 years and 65+ years. These protocols have been launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister in the ‘Fit India Dialogue’ programme held on 24 Sept’2020 to coincide with the First Anniversary of Fit India Movement.
These protocols consist of fitness tests based on various fitness components and suggested activities to improve the same. All are requested to make the best use of the protocols for the benefit of personal growth.

Sahyadrians participate in Jan Andolan Campaign against COVID-19

The Teaching and Non-teaching staff of Sahyadri participated in the Jan Andolan Campaign against COVID-19 by taking a Pledge to follow all guidelines to prevent the spread of the disease. The pledge was conducted by the NSS unit of Sahyadri through Google meet. Dr. Rajesha S., Principal lead the staff through the Pledge process.
The campaign on Jan Andolan for COVID-19 Appropriate Behaviour was launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister in view of the upcoming festivals and winter season as well as the opening up of the economy.
