Engineers' Day: Ingenious: Turning Ideas into Reality
1) VTU State Level Kannada Essay Competition
In connection with the Engineers’ day celebration, VTU has organized Kannada Essay competition for the students of Sahyadri Engineering College on Monday 15th September, 2014 at 12 Noon in MBA classroom -101. Topic for the essay is 'Sir. M. Visvesvarayanavaru yava reethiyalli yuva Engineergalige Spoorthidayaka?' Winners will get cash prizes of Rs. 20,000/-, Rs. 15,000/- and Rs. 10,000/- for First, Second and Third prize, respectively. 2) Drawing Competition
In connection with the Engineers’ day celebration, Manthana is organizing Drawing competition for the students of Sahyadri Engineering College on Saturday, 13th September, 2014 at 12 Noon in classroom -214. The theme for the drawing competition is a portrait of Sir M. Visvesvaraya.
