Dr. C. Ranganathaiah Conducts Sessions on Research Methodology
 Two sessions on Research Methodology was conducted by Dr. C. Ranganathaiah, Director Research, Govt. Research Center, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management in the Campus. He addressed all faculty members of the institute. He spoke extensively on various aspects of research and inspired young faculty members to take up research.
Faculty Members Attend Workshop
Dr. Vishal Samartha, Prof. Sushma and Prof. Gayathri Shetty of the Department of Business Administration, attended a workshop on “Behavioral strategies for success” organized by National Institute of Personnel management (NIPM) at SDM College. Mr. P. Jayashankar Rai, Head HR-MCF, Mangalore, was the resource person who emphasized on the aspects that are important to achieve success in life. According to him, one should not only work hard but also strategically be strong in their approach in achieving success. In addition to this, he highlighted that one should be egoless, cleverly delegate the tasks, be practical, adaptable and also control one’s emotions and feelings. He stressed on the fact that one should learn to be reasonable, accept feedback and positively work towards it.

Tomorrow at Sahyadri
• HCL Technologies Ltd. will be conducting a recruitment drive in the Campus from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P. M. Around 100 candidates with work experience ranging from 6 to 8 years are expected to attend the drive. A total of 11 HCL employees will handle the technical and HR rounds.
• In connection with the Engineers’ Day celebration on 15th September, 2014, Manthana is organizing Drawing competition for the students of Sahyadri Engineering College on Saturday, 13th September, 2014 at 12 Noon in classroom -214. The theme for the drawing competition is a portrait of Sir M. Visvesvaraya.
