She obtained her B.E. degree from SSIT, Tumkur and post-graduation M.Tech. degree in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems from RIT, Hassan. Her area of specialisation is VLSI Design and Embedded Systems.

Faculty Member Attends Training Programme
Mr. Prabhakara B. K., Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering attended a one-day training for organizers of the Spoken Tutorial Program of IIT- Bombay at VTU regional office, Mysore. The training session was conducted by Prof. Shyla and organized by VTU for the faculties of Mysore zone. The Spoken Tutorial Project is about teaching and learning a particular FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) like Linux, Scilab, LaTeX, PHP & MySQL, Java, C/C++, LibreOffice etc. via an easy Video tool - Spoken Tutorials.
