Google Student Ambassador – Working Team Recruitment

A presentation of the Google Student Ambassador (GSA) - India Program was given to over 270 students in the Campus. Motivated by the presentation, around 250 students from the first to the third year B.E. registered to be in the team. Following this, a Group Discussion was held as Round 1. Students felt that the GD was interesting as they learnt how to exchange view and ideas systematically from which 102 students were selected. Shortlisted students of Round 1 were required to make and upload videos of themselves on YouTube in the Round 2-Video Presentation. The students felt the need to innovate and impress, forced to move out of their comfort zone. 55 students were shortlisted from this round. In the final round which was a personal interview session, 29 students were selected, out of which 18 will function as working members and 11 will be participants in the GSA events. The participants confessed that they researched a lot before attending the interview, but the questions asked were completely different and scenario-based.
