Vishwa Tuluvere Parba at Sahyadri
Vishwa Tuluvere Parba, an amalgamation of Cultural and literary programmes, along with exhibition, competitions and entertainment akin to Tulunadu culture will be organized on December 12, 13 and 14, 2014 at Sahyadri college of Engineering & Management premises.
Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr. Virendra Hegde in his inaugural addresses of the Inauguration Programme of the office of the Vishwa Tuluvere Parba announced the premises being shifted from Pilikula to Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management. It’s a great privilege to all Sahyadrians.
Teachers’ Week – Day 3
 “Manthana” (Our Walk towards Change) an association of likeminded Sahyadrians on the occasion of Teachers Day conducted Debate and Creative Writing Competitions in the Campus.
Mr.Mithun and Mrs. Gayarthri, Department of Buisness Administration won the First prize in Debate Comnpetition.
Ms. Krithi, Department of Chemistry bagged the first prize in Drawing Competition which was held on Teachers' Week - Day 2. Mr. Bharath, Department of Computer Application won the Second place whereas Mr. Rajendra Prasad, Department of Civil Engineering has bagged the third place .
Around ten candidates participated in the Creative Writing Competition and eight candidates participated in debate Competition. Mr. Naveen, Principal, Sahyadri Pre University College judged the Debate competition. Mr. Krishna Prasad, Lecturer in English, Sahyadri Pre University College judged the Creative Writing Competition.
The verbattle team comprising of Mr. Veer Jain, Semester VIII, Mr. Karthik Ramakrishnan, Semester V, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Ms. Sheethal, Semester VIII, Computer Science & Engineering conducted the Debate competition and Ms. Kavya Gaonkar and team, Semester III conducted the Creative Writing competition. Many teaching and non– teaching faculty members and students cheered the participants.

Tomorrow at Sahyadri
Teachers’ Day Celebration will be held at 4.00P.M in the auditorium.
Mrs. Lucy Coelho, Retired Teacher will be the chief guest and Mr. Manjunath Bhandary, Chairman will preside over the function.
It will be followed by prize distribution Ceremony of Teachers' Week competitions, cultural programmes, fun games and photo session.
