Sahyadri Felicitates Teachers on the occasion of Teachers Day
In recognition of the valuable service rendered by teachers, Sahyadri felicitated Shri K R Devadas, Retd. Head-master of Shree Rama Aided Higher Primary and High School, Farangipet for his lifelong service in the field of education. On this occasion on 5th Sep’19, Shri Krishna Kumar Poonja, Founder - Trustee of Sewanjali Trust, Farangipet was also felicitated in recognition of his sincere social service to the society. Prof. S S Balakrishna, Vice Principal, gave the keynote address.
Shri K R Devadas shared his experiences as a teacher and gave valuable advice to faculty in order to become great teachers. Shri Krishna Kumar Poonja spoke about the importance of a teacher in the society, their role as a teacher in building a progressive society and moulding the youth. He emphasized on the need to develop service mindedness among self and the students. The Principal, Dr. R Srinivasa Rao Kunte, gave the Presidential address.
Managing Director of Insight Job Guru Interacts with Final Year MBA students
Mr. Renjit Keshav, Managing Director of Insight Job Guru, interacted with the final year MBA students on 3rd Sep’19. He emphasized about the importance of being an empathetic person to be successful. He shared his story of success and encouraged them to be passionate about their career. The session received an overwhelming response from the students.
Sahyadri Toastmasters Conducts a Joint Meeting
The Sahyadri Toastmasters conducts a joint meeting along with Milagres Toastmasters Club and Inspiron Toastmasters Club on Wednesday, 4th September 2019. The first joint meeting of this term was a grand success with the combined efforts of TM Madhura, TM Mahima and TM Aashritha, the presidents of the three clubs. The session consisted of three main segments common to any Toastmasters meeting around the globe that comprised of Prepared Speeches, Evaluation and Table Topics. The Sahyadri Toastmasters Club was started last year and has since then continued to marvel and shine.
Students participate in Poster Presentation competition
Students of First Year Engineering and Second year MBA participated in the Poster Presentation competition organized by Department of Mental Health Nursing, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) in commemoration of World Suicide Prevention day on the theme, “Shining A Light on Suicide Prevention”.
