KPMG GDC conducts Pool Campus Recruitment Drive for MBAs

Mr. Badri Subbarao Bangaru, Executive Director; Ms. Lakshmi Venkatesh, Manager-Human Resource and Mr. Muhammad Umar, Senior Executive-HR from KPMG GDC are at Sahyadri during 9th to 10th Sep’19 for the Pool Campus Recruitment Drive.

On 9th Sep’19, the day began with pre-placement talk wherein the recruiters introduced the company to the students and clarified doubts. Post this, the Aptitude Test was held. The shortlisted candidates will go through the final interview tomorrow. Meanwhile, Lakshmi interacted with the MBA Faculty team and recalled the stellar work and great campaigns she reviewed on social media about Sahyadri MBA Department.

Sahyadrians achieve in VTU inter-collegiate Wrestling and Judo competition

Ms. Namrasha N Ganiga wins 1st place in Judo - 78 KG category and Ms. Tejaswini N V wins 3rd place in Wrestling 72 KG category in VTU Inter-collegiate Wrestling and Judo competition held at SJC Institute of Technology, Chikaballapur.

Third Session on Future Skills - AR/VR/MR and Social Mobile

Sahyadri Future Skills - AR/VR/MR and Social Mobile organized its third session on Sep 7th’19. The session was engraved on the topic “Mobile Application Development”. The session was facilitated by trainers from DreamSoft Innovations along with Mr. Subramanya C, Mr. Rithesh, and Mr. Sujith D. As a hands-on experience, various mobile applications were developed by the attendees. The applications were developed using Thunkables and MIT App, inventor platform.

MBAs attend a Workshop on ‘Anchoring TV & LIVE events’

Four of the MBA students – Rajesh, Sagar B C, Shreeraksha and Neha Ullas attended a workshop on ‘Anchoring TV & LIVE events’ organized by Surprise Studio in collaboration with Pathway Enterprises, Mangaluru on Sunday, 8th Sep’19. This workshop not only helped to gain confidence while communicating to the masses but also in networking with people from Entertainment Industry. Students have effectively utilized their weekend to build their profile.

Team Challengers in association with ISRO, Flotanomers, DSI and DT Labs is going to conduct a National level aeromodelling competition, AEROPHILIA-2019 during Sep 20th to 22nd’19. Aerophilia is a Two-Day Aeromodelling event with more than 15 events conducted by Team Challengers.
