Technical requirements were fulfilled by Probid J Panikkan and Gerald K Antony. The introduction was done by means of a game. The students showed great energy and enthusiasm.

Two sessions were conducted. First, was building a model from scrap. This was conducted with a view to spark their inner awareness and to give the studentsa little information on how to develop their idea to a model. In this manner their ideas can be understood by people. This was done understanding the present scenario of the kids in their home.

Sahyadri conducts Summer Camp The second session was on drawing their most likely concept. This was to ignite their inner artist and to elevate their imagination. The person with good imagination can develop more ideas in the future.

As the sessions progressed, the students although of varying age group began to feel more comfortable and mingled well. A little of Science and Mathematics was brought into the camp to make it more interesting. As such, the students would have a better understanding of the world around them. Refreshments were provided for the students during the first half. Few ideas were given to the students to work on once they get back home. The Day-One was brought to a conclusion on a happy note.

The Day-Two started with the students making a glider plan. The students were made to draw the plan of the glider and the parts were cut by the organizers. Later it was assembled and made into aperfect glider. The kids enjoyed themselves on the ground with the gliders. The Day-Two was brought to a successful conclusion.

On Day-Three the students had to make a PopsicleBridge and paper plane. The students were asked to make two different PopsicleBridges. One was Arch Bridge for students from 5th to 9th standard and the other was Truss Bridge for the students of LKG to 4th standard.

The main reason behind this was to make students understand the different patterns and shapes which can be helpful in science. By doing this the students were able to understand the different patterns and shapes and have become more familiar to the Geometries than before. Moreover the activities gave an insight to students about few concepts in our environment. The Day-Three was thus concluded.

On Day-Fourthere were videos and space shuttle Lego Modelling for students from smaller grades and as for the 5th to 9th standard students very basic IOTs were shown.

The videos contained all the technical advancement and the students poured out a lot of questions on the videos. It was informative and the doubts they expressed actually made one to think in a different dimension.

The Space Shuttle Lego Modelling was done to ignite curiosity among students about fascinating technology that they could see here in their region.IOT devices and equipment were shown to the older students.

Next, the students were taken to the ground and were shown flying of drones and a few of them even tried flying the same. The session was successfully concluded.

He also facilitated a session on the topic - “Case study of a Green Building-Vibha”. Vibha is the name of his house situated in Shimoga. It is a green building which neither has external electric supply nor municipal water connection. The resources are used and procured in the house itself. The house has its own rain water harvesting tank which supplies water to the house throughout the year and also solar electric power. The house is built in such a manner that it is cool inside throughout the year and it doesn’t have any ceiling fans. At this age, he uses cycle to go to college which is 5 kms away from his house. Eco-friendly Products and Practices During the afternoon session, Dr. Manjappa Sarathi gave a brief talk on “Production of bio energy and bio fertilizer in sugar industries” and also spoke about “Indian sugar industry overview”. He said - sugar is the basic commodity for every individual. The sugar consumption in the world is about 170 lakh million tons per year. Lots of waste is generated during the production of sugar. The waste generated can be used for the production of other materials like addition of alcohol in petrol for producing gasohol. Hence the waste generated in the sugar industry must be reused since sugarcane in India is grown by 6 million famers and sugar production varies between 30-32 lakh million tonnes.
