Bridge Course for Engineering students– 2019 Bridge Course for Engineering students– 2019 The students of the first batch presented their team’s robot in the Bridge Course Mega Event Challenge. The teams built a robot which can follow light, can be controlled manually through Bluetooth connectivity, and finally perform autonomous line following function to complete the task. The teams built the robot by first designing the CAD model in onshape software, laser cutting the chassis of the robot using the facilities of Dreamworks Makerspace and programmed the robot using the in-house developed prototyping kit from Dream Tech Innovation Lab (DTI lab).

The second batch of Bridge course students were merged with first batch today to view the event and have few takeaways to help them enhance their learning.

Bridge Course for Engineering Batch 2019 Currently, two Engineering Batches of 2019 are undergoing Bridge Course simultaneously.
Bridge Course Batch 1
Students are now successfully rendering the message of team building, design thinking, process of bringing their ideas into reality and building the prototypes. Apart from this, they have presented their overall experience of last 12 days of Bridge Course which brought them together and not only induced them to think differently but also prepared them to become Professional Engineers.

Bridge Course Batch 2
Students had great takeaways from the session on Design Thinking. They were guided in defining the problem statement and also use ideation technique to come up with solutions to the problem. Students were assigned with a task of designing an ideal wallet for the user.
