Denzil Lobo, Rector, St. Aloysius College Institutions. The book is sponsored by Sahyadri Educational Institutions. A part of the profit generated from this book will be given to Sahyadri Corpus Fund.

Fr. Denzil Lobo, Rector, St. Aloysius Institutions, speaking on the occasion said, “Education needs a paradigm shift. Values the students inculcate, appreciation they have of themselves and of others is very important. All of us are interested in education, we are living in a world which is changing very fast. Now many things have changed and our younger generation does not understand. Our education system is not promoting creativity, we are only preparing students for CET and to get seat in engineering. Education forms a person. We need to rethink about our education.”

Prof. Narendra L. Nayak, Chairman, Expert Group of Institutions and Prof. Nadeem, Cosmos Tutorials were the guests of honor. Dr. Mohandas Bhat, Dean-Academics, Prof. M. N. Nayak, Administrator and Dr. A. P. Achar, Director, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management were present at the book release.

About the Book by Ananth Prabhu, Author:
“Often I hear many parents telling me – My son/daughter is not good in studies, kindly help. Well, I also hear many students complaining – No matter how hard I study, how much more efforts I put, I go blank in the exam hall. I fail to meet the expectations of my parents. This is a very common but dangerous situation. Because, usually it results in either suicide, lack of self-confidence and failure in life, and depression.

I have invested lots of time to compile this book. Most of the contents are borrowed from various articles from the internet, but I have made modifications to suit the needs of the students. This book is full of practical tips including how to: organize work; write better in examinations; remember those forgettable facts; cope with exam nerves; and prepare properly for tests and exams. There are also tips to get up early, fascinating facts about brain, how to cope up depression and live positively.”
