The focal point of the fund is to extend support to the deserving students coming from the economically backward sections and assist them in education and research. The major ideology behind the corpus fund being true humanitarian and economic assistance to the students who wish to make significant contributions in their own spheres apart from their dedication to the cause of nation building.

Now a year later, this admirable young woman has again secured a first class in her MBBS examination from SIMS, Shivamogga. This year too, in a touching gesture, the Chairman has generously handed over a cheque through the Sahyadri Corpus Fund to continue her education. The young woman is all smiles and vows to do great things, thanks to the generous contributions from her well-wishers.
