MBA Faculty invited for BOS Meeting in Business Administration of St. Agnes College, Mangaluru
Prof. Sushma V, Dept. of Business Administration-MBA, the Board of Studies (BOS) Member in Business Administration of St. Agnes College, Mangaluru, was invited for the BOS Meeting held on 11th Nov’2021 on virtual mode. During the meeting, the quality of Question paper was gauged and inputs were given. New Syllabus as per NEP was reviewed and approved with certain recommendations. BOE member list was also reviewed and approved.
CSE Faculty Invited as a Chief Guest at the Annual Event of Karnataka Backward Classes Welfare Department Hostel, Bantwala region
Prof. Ankitha K, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering was invited as a Chief Guest for the Annual Event of Karnataka Backward Classes Welfare Department Hostel, Bantwala region. She gave a Talk on ‘Personality Development’ for SSLC and PUC students of various domains. They were enlightened on the various career paths they could choose from and got clarity on the courses they need to pursue in order to achieve their career goal. A total of 200 participants were pooled from BCM hostel of Bantwala Taluk. The academic achievers were honoured and appreciated during the event. Mr. Sachin Kumar, DC of Karnataka Backward Classes Welfare Department; Mrs. Bindiya Nayaka, Taluk Welfare Officer and Wardens of BCM Hostel were present in the event.
Sahyadri Toastmasters Club interacted with Third batch of Bridge Course for Engineering
Sahyadri Toastmasters Club conducted an interactive session with students of Third batch of Bridge Course on 9th Nov’2021. Toastmaster Debbie from Winners club gave introduction about toastmasters to all the students. Later, Toastmaster Sunitha and Toastmaster Kavitha conducted table topic session to the bridge course students. They were divided into 9 teams and each team had to talk for 2 minutes.

Day 4 (11th Nov’2021)
The morning session was on "Theoretical Design of Aerial Robotics" led by Mr. Blarren along with Team Flotonomers. This session was on introducing the concept of aeromodelling and understanding the basic concepts of Aeronautics, by showcasing various aero models built by them. Also, there was a competition conducted for the students where the student teams had to build their own paper planes and fly them, overall making it an informative and fun experience. The afternoon session was followed up by working on Dream Kit, which was taken up by Team DTi Labz, wherein students learned to interface different sensors and hardware with Dream Kit while developing simple applications, helping have hands-on experience in electronics.
