Mentoring students on Social Innovation Projects, National & International Events

Dreamers and Challengers are two teams of young Engineering graduates and students with a motto to translate the theoretical perception of engineering into real-world applications. A few members from various disciplines grouped together with sole intention to learn Engineering concepts. Gradually, more people were added and formed a team. This team grew by participating in several national level competitions conducted by IITs, NITs and other elite institutions of our Nation.

Currently, these groups are mentoring First-year students of Sahyadri to participate in National and International level Technical events.

A Special initiative of Sahyadri - “Social Innovation Project” mentored by First year faculty members from all Branches and also by Dreamers has been successful in providing platform to find real problems in society & find Engineering Solution to them. Challengers play a key role in preparing students for International events.

As an outcome of Social Innovation Project, a new team was formed called TRIGON on March 31st 2017. Trigon means Triangle in Greek. This team has been formed with the main intention to Make a Change in the society & to engineer people’s life. Hence, their tagline is – “If you want a change, make a change” and the team has successfully executed many Social Projects.

Entire Teaching Fraternity, HoDs , Dean, Principal and Management of Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management Congratulates Team Dreamers, Challengers, Trigon and First-year Faculty members on guiding Young minds towards Social innovation Project and International and National level events
