Mentor’s Introduction:
Rathishchandra R Gatti received B.E from NITK Surathkal and Ph.D from Curtin University, Perth, Australia in 2002 and 2014 respectively. His management degrees include MBA from IGNOU Delhi (2007), Post graduate diploma in Global Strategic Management from ICFAI (2008), Six Sigma Greenbelt from General Electric, USA and Graduate Certificate in Research Commercialization from Curtin University, Australia. After his graduation, he has worked in the field of automotive R&D and design at Arvin Meritor, SVI and Rapsri. He also served as a NPI program manager at General Electric Industrial in R&D programs related to North American power distribution products from 2004 to 2008.From 2009 to 2014 pursued his PhD in the area of electromagnetic vibration energy harvesting at Curtin University, Australia. He later taught engineering design as a sessional academic from 2014 to 2015 at Curtin. Since 2015, he is working as Professor in the department of Mechanical engineering and as a researcher in Karnataka Government Research Centre in Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, India. He is a recognized reviewer of Elsevier Journal of Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing and other journals. He currently has 1US Patent, 1 Canadian patent, 1 Mexican patent and 11 international publication. His hobbies include Comics & Manga/Anime, designing stuff, digital painting, hiking and riding bikes. .
