Faculty invited as Resource person for webinar organised by Karnataka Sahitya Academy
Prof. Akshaya Kumari Shetty, Dept. of Business Administration-MBA, was invited as a Resource Person for a Webinar on “Unique Culture of Dakshina Kannada the vision of agricultural life” organised by Karnataka Sahitya Academy, Bengaluru.
Prof. Shetty spoke about folklore, diety worship and all the rituals which has a rich heritage in these region. She explained the attachment and relationship built by a farmer with his land. She also compared the past life with present lifestyle, where people are less interested towards agriculture. The webinar was live broadcasted in Academy-Youtube.
Dignitaries present in this webinar were Dr. B.V. Vasantha Kumar, President; Shri. Kariyappa, Registrar & Shri. Dathaguru Seethaaraama Hegde, Co-ordinator; all being associated with Karnataka Sahitya Academy.

Performance Analysis of AODV and OLSR protocol in Mobile Ad Hoc Network using NS3’ in International Journal of Management, Technology, and Social Sciences (IJMTS), 5(2), 372-379. It is an collaborative research work of Dr. Bappalige with research scholar of Srinivas University, Mangalore, with respect to solar power based sensors developed for mobile application. These article is based on Mobile Ad Hoc Networks in which energy is a main constraint and selection of a protocol that minimizes the energy usage is a key issue.
