Faculty Members of Civil Engineering visit Construction Site at Harekala Village as part of Consultancy Services

Faculty members of Civil Engineering, accompanied by Prof. Hemanth Prabhu, Head of the Dept. and Dr. Nalini E. Rebello, Dean-Academics visited the ongoing construction site to supervise the foundation works, structural detailing and PSC girder works.
The visit is part of Project Management Consultancy for Construction of Bridge cum Salt Water Exclusion Dam across Nethravathi River near Harekala Village, Mangaluru. This is one of the major entrusted projects of Dept. of Minor Irrigation and Ground Water Development Division Mangaluru.
Dept. of Civil Engineering is providing Project Management consultancy services for the same under the guidance of Prof. Hemanth Prabhu & Dr. Nalini E. Rebello. Faculty members also conduct visits to the site twice a week and prepare reports and Mix design.
